Goals and Tasks (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a visual goal-mapping and task-management service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account
When you create a Goals and Tasks account, we collect information such as your email address and any name you provide. If you choose to register or log in through a social provider (such as Google), we collect the account information you authorize us to receive. This helps us set up and maintain your account and provide personalized service.
Payment
We use third-party payment services (such as Stripe) to process transactions. The name, email address, mailing address, and payment card information you provide during the purchase process will be collected by those services. For billing and account management, we may retain limited payment information, such as payment status, subscription plan, and partial card details.
Service use
We record your service usage data through the use of third-party analytics tools. This includes the time of your access to the service, the specific functions you use, how frequently you use them, and your interactions within the service. This information helps us understand how users interact with Goals and Tasks and optimize the user experience.
Communication
When you contact us, subscribe to our newsletters, or engage with us in other ways, we collect your email address or social media account details. These details are used to respond to your inquiries and provide relevant information in accordance with your preferences.
Customer service
When you interact with our customer service team, we document your contact information and the content of the conversation. This helps us provide more accurate assistance and improve our services.
Third-party service
If you choose to use third-party services or connect them to Goals and Tasks (such as GoalEnforcer desktop sync or social authentication providers), we collect the information necessary to integrate our service based on your authorization. This may include usernames, file data, or authentication tokens needed to keep the integration working securely.
3. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the service.
- To sync your data across devices and with connected third-party services if you choose.
- To send account-related emails, security alerts, and optional product updates.

You can access, update, or delete your goals and account data from within the app. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in each message. To delete your account entirely, contact support.
7. Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. After account deletion, residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period before being purged.
